How your data is processed when you interview through Vertigo.
1. Who we are
Vertigo is an international recruitment platform operated by Verino Service LC (500 4th St NW Ste 102, Albuquerque, NM 87102, USA), used by companies (the “recruiters”) to organize video interviews, analyze applications and produce interview reports. The company that invited you to an interview is the data controller for your personal data; Vertigo acts as its technical processor.
2. What data is processed?
- Application data: first and last name, email, phone number, spoken languages and the résumé you provided to the recruiter.
- Interview data: audio/video streams during the call, transcription and translation of the exchanges (subtitles and chat), and the timestamp of your consent.
- Analyses: an AI-generated summary comparing your profile with the criteria defined by the recruiter. The final score is computed by a deterministic rule and the decision always remains human.
3. Legal basis and consent
Recording and transcription of an interview only start after your explicit consent, collected on the call's welcome screen. You may refuse: the interview can then take place without transcription. Other processing relies on the recruiter's legitimate interest in evaluating your application (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Retention
Recordings and transcriptions are retained for the period selected by the recruiter (30 days, 90 days or 1 year), then deleted. Application data is retained for the duration of the recruitment process.
5. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. To exercise them, contact the company that invited you directly — it can delete your entire file (résumé, applications, interviews, reports) in one click from its workspace. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL — cnil.fr).
6. Technical subprocessors
- Data hosting: Supabase (European Union).
- Application hosting: Vercel.
- Video conferencing: LiveKit.
- Speech-to-text: Deepgram.
- Subtitle translation: DeepL.
- Application analysis: Anthropic (Claude).
- Transactional email: Resend.
- Payments (recruiters only): Whop.
7. International transfers
Verino Service LC is a US company. Where personal data of EU residents is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with our subprocessors. Candidate data at rest is hosted in the European Union.
